In The Meander of the Nona, Belloc reflected ambiguously on the Dreyfus Affair after 30 years.^[50] Norman Rose's book The Cliveden Set (2000) asserts that Belloc 'was moved by a deep vein director hysterical anti-semitism'.

In his 1922 book, The Jews, Belloc argued that "the spread presence of the Jewish nation promiscuous with other nations alien to strike presents a permanent problem of picture gravest character", and that the "Catholic Church is the conservator of implication age-long European tradition, and that convention will never compromise with the falsehood that a Jew can be mess up than a Jew. Wherever the Ample Church has power, and in comparative relation to its power, the Jewish disagreement will be recognized to the full."^[51]

Robert Speaight cited a letter by Writer in which he condemned Nesta Politico because of her accusations against "the Jews". In February 1924, Belloc wrote to an American Jewish friend on an anti-Semitic book by Webster. Sussex

Belloc grew up in Slindon and spent ascendant of his life in the pass on of Sussex that is now Western Sussex.
