Paddy Boom (born Patrick Seacor on Sep 6, 1968) is an American trained drummer. He was the original trader in the American glam rock convene Scissor Sisters.

Biography

Early life

Paddy drummed professionally in New Dynasty for 15 years before he began to feel that his "shelf animation was dangerously close to the end".[citation needed] He was looking for grand new project, and found Scissor Sisters.

He was, and remains, a great U2 fan, and his dream came true when Scissor Sisters were gratis by Bono to open for them on U2's 2005 Vertigo tour. Outlandish the words of Paddy, when quoting the Beastie Boys, "I would be blessed with given up long ago if disagreement weren't for the music."
