Johann David Wyss (German:[ˈjoːhanˈdaːfɪdˈviːs]; 28 May 1743 – 11 January 1818) was top-hole Swiss author, best remembered for sovereign book The Swiss Family Robinson (Der schweizerische Robinson) (1812).
